Welcome and thank you for visiting my bilingual website (English and Spanish)! My name is Yelitza (Yely) Staley and I provide inspirational Yoga classes, calming Meditation sessions and healthy and delicious Plant Based Vegan recipes which combined, create the perfect trifecta for a happy and healthy lifestyle.
I am a Venezuelan born American bilingual RYT- 500H Vinyasa Yoga Instructor who has lived in Chicago and Florida and now reside near San Francisco, California. I have been practicing Yoga since 2004, and Meditation since 2008 and have trained closely with the world’s leading yoga instructors including Tiffany Cruikshank and Jason Crandell. I also find passion in the kitchen and love to share plant-based living advice and recipes on my personal blog and social media channels. As a lover of knowledge and growth, I am constantly enrolled in various schools and certified training programs across yoga, meditation, and vegan culinary arts.
I started my professional career as a Lawyer. However, after years in the law field, I decided to be of service in a more personally meaningful way which led me down the path of teaching yoga, meditation and plant-based classes and workshops around the world in English and Spanish. I am also a business owner, who currently owns and operates two successful businesses. ‘YogaYely’ is my bilingual yoga business and personal brand, and I also owns and operates ‘Prajna Center’, a conscious living center in a charming eco-friendly space located in Belmont, CA, which provides classes and workshops in Yoga, Meditation, and Veganism.
As teacher for those that want to gain practical daily tips for mindful living, I specialize in ‘Mindful Vinyasa Yoga’ which focuses on anatomical precision and creative sequencing, self-observation of the mind and the breath, and a deep exploration of postures. I truly believe that yoga can be practiced by everyone, so I make sure that every single one of my students feels welcome and included in my classes. Mindfulness and compassion are big components of my teachings with the hopes of helping students to find ease, relaxation and acceptance with their journey as they build their practice. Off the mat, I find balance spending time outdoors in nature with her family, including her four-legged cockapoo son, Wilton.

In addition to yoga, I have had a daily meditation practice since 2008, which has transformed not only my yoga practice into a more meaningful one, but it has also transformed my own character to be more serene and balanced and it has also enabled me to develop a deep sense of self-awareness and a non-judgmental attitude towards anyone and any circumstances in my life, including myself. Sign up and join any of my "Meditation" sessions in any of my yoga classes.
Another passion of mine is living a healthy lifestyle by eating with mindfulness and compassion. In 2013, after two years of juicing and cutting out all processed food, I decided to fully embrace a Plant Based Vegan lifestyle. If you are curious about it, visit my “Plant Based Lifestyle” section so you can add more healthy and compassionate meals to your diet in order to improve your overall wellbeing.
Today, I am happy and honor to share this lifestyle and my teachings with you in order to inspire you to become the best version I know you can be, that is why I also invite you to visit my “Blog” if you are looking for more inspiration and I sure hope you find it inspirational and useful so you can also pursue a happy and healthy lifestyle.
I look forward to practice yoga and/or meditation together soon!

"Yely's patience reminded me of what yoga is all about: accepting my body and mind's limits while always striving to extend it just a little further. And that feeling stuck with me as I stuck with yoga and gradually got stronger. Yely is sweet, funny and an excellent yoga teacher who knows exactly how to motivate yogis and yoginis to do more and come away feeling good about their practice.” - Sharon Z.
"I want to take a moment and thank Yely for sharing her practice and beautiful tips to help everyone understand that this is a practice and goes beyond simply attempting the pose. That is about safety and patience and honoring where our body is at in the moment. Namaste.” - Angela E.
"Yely is one of the most authentic, kind, & genuinely sweet person you will meet! To work with her, is to know what it is like to have space held for you in an empowering way!" – Teresa B.
"I love how Yely decided to follow her heart and stay dedicated to yoga. I find that very inspiring… Please continue to share your wonderful stories, especially the daily message…Namaste! Thank you for sharing your light and love in this world!" - Nicole W.
"Yely is truly an inspiration, and a wonderful teacher. I'm grateful she is in my life to show me the way to a more peaceful and centered life. I've enjoyed all teachers at Prajna Center, but I feel I learn the most from her. Thank you! Nancy T.
